The update stands out for being the preparation for the start of season 26, which will start on April 15 at 17:00 (PDT). So far both consoles have been using a temporary solution, but from the patch onwards they will run at native resolution. Microsoft's next-gen will finally lock down the resolution on both consoles with the Xbox Series X will do so at 4K, while Xbox Series S will maintain 1080p.
